• Division 2 Preview Week 15

Clyde Valley Blackhawks (5-2) vs (5-0) West Coast Trojans
Clyde Valley are sitting just outside the playoffs and with three games left in their season including two games against the undefeated Trojans a wildcard will be difficult but vital for them.

Milton Keynes Pathfinders (5-2-1) vs (6-2) Watford Cheetahs
Two losses and a tie leave the Pathfinders outside the playoffs like the Blackhawks. They have shown the ability to mix it with the best in their division this season and they will need to keep doing in their two remaining games. When the two met in week 11 Milton Keynes had a small advantage that saw them win 31-20, they cannot afford for the result to be different this weekend. Watford's situation is similar, they are sitting just ahead of Milton Keynes but still outside the playoffs. It is likely the loser of this game will find the playoffs difficult to reach.

South Wales Warriors (5-2) vs (3-4) Bournemouth Bobcats
South Wales are clinging to a wildcard spot in Division 2, their win last weekend improved their chances with three games they will see as winnable between them and an 8-2 record that could see them steal the West from Berkshire. Bournemouth?s own chances are fading and would die with a loss here so if they are hoping for a late playoff run it needs to start here.

Lincolnshire Bombers (0-6) vs (5-2) Shropshire Revolution
The Bombers are struggling for numbers, they turned up last weekend with just 17 players and had to call their game against Sheffield at the half. The team is showing a lot of spirit to carry on with the season but a win would be a struggle for the team in their final four games due to player fatigue.

Sheffield Predators (3-3) vs (1-6) Staffordshire Surge
The Predators are still trying to make something of their season but much more than a 5-5 record thanks to their first three losses is going to be hard and will likely not be enough for the playoffs. Surge have had a tough season but have been respectable. It is unlikely they will hold Sheffield back this weekend but this could yield an upset.

Berkshire Renegades (7-1) vs (0-7) Gloucester Banshees
Berkshire suffered their first loss last weekend at the hands of the Cornish Sharks. They are looking for one more win to guarantee the playoffs. Will the effects of last weekend hold them back against the winless Banshees though?

Carlisle Border Reivers (0-7) vs (6-2) Dundee Hurricanes
The Reivers may have reached their goals for the year. The team are now scoring good points and every game sees them improving. The Hurricanes cannot afford for them to be the Reivers? first defeated foes as they look to put distance between themselves and the bunch of teams sitting a game behind in the playoff picture especially with their final regular season game being against North leaders the West Coast Trojans.

Edinburgh Wolves (3-4) vs (1-5) Highland Wildcats
The Wildcats are unlikely to get higher or lower in their division before the end of the year. The Wolves would like to get back to 4-4 and then see where they can. A loss and they lose sight of Glasgow and have to start worrying about the Wildcats.
