The BAFCA offer membership to all those involved in coaching football in the United Kingdom. The benefits of membership include:
Standing Benefits
- Access to members only content on the website.
- Access to the BAFCA Coach Education Programme and qualifications
- Eligible (after achieving Level 1), for BAFA coach insurance
- Free attendance of events at the Annual Convention.
- Receiving all newsletters and mail-out information.
- Voting rights at BAFCA General Meetings.
- Eligible for election to the Executive Board after two years full membership.
- Eligible to sit on Standing Committees.
Other Benefits of Membership
- Members of the B.A.F.C.A. are represented on the BAFA Board and to other parties by a strong leadership which protects and promotes the interests of coaches.
- Membership provides access to a centralised standard of qualification enabling coaches to prove their abilities and knowledge.
- Membership provides new contacts and a forum for the exchange of ideas and information within the coaching fraternity.
- Membership provides coaches with an opportunity to help improve the profession through contribution to the activities of the Association.
Annual Membership Fees
Full £17 Adult members 18 years or older.
Junior £7 Members between 16 and 17 years of age. Junior members do not hold voting rights at General Meetings and they are not eligible to hold any position within the organization. They may undertake the Coach Education Programme but qualifications will not be granted until passing 18th birthday.
Note: Members of the BAFCA must also hold BAFA membership, currently £20 per annum. Qualified and active members must hold the BAFA coach insurance cover @ £19 per annum
The BAFCA reserve the right to refuse membership to any inpidual at their discretion.
